Woulda Shoulda Coulda

You think Republicans are starting to have morning-after regrets about not nominating Mitt Romney? Whatever else he may be, the smooth, slick Romney is the poster-boy for managerial competence. What better person to top the Republican ticket at a time of economic crisis?

That Mormon thing doesn't look so bad now, does it Repubs? Thank god for Republican intolerance.

I can't agree with you in describing Romney as a man of managerial competence. I believe his employees and many former ones wouldn't either. Robo man wasn't any friend to dogs either. All in all I would have to say Robo man stands out as the person short of Sara Palin, who has the biggest gap between what he has said and what he has done in this 2008 election year.

You're right. Lev. But I think there is the perception that he is Mr. Competent Businessman. That's the strongest point in his favor, and I think it would have helped him tremendously in this race, given the economic circumstances.

And I sure couldn't agree more that putting that dog on his car rroof was (or should have been) a crime.
