The Pentagon is prepared to leave fighting forces in Iraq for as long as a decade despite an agreement between the United States and Iraq that would bring all American troops home by 2012.

The first test comes next month, when we're supposed to get combat troops out of urban areas. Good luck with that.

Probably another Korea setup where we are there infinitum. Obumma won't say no to the military which makes him no better than the bushman. And he won't say no to the NRA. Assault weapons allowed in the National Parks is the craziest idea I've ever heard. I wonder how long it will take before we hear of someone taking down a bison in Yellowstone.

Korea is exactly what I see Iraq becoming, Lev.

The Boston police dept. is thinking of arming some neighborhood patrol officers with M16s, supposedly to deal with terrorists. I don't know of too many terrorist threats on Boston streets.
