A famous “Fox & Friends” host is in talks to become the newest co-host on ABC's “The View.”
Abby Huntsman is reportedly in the process of negotiating a deal to join the show and replace Sara Haines, who is leaving the program to co-host “Good Morning America” alongside Michael Strahan.
Huntsman would bring another much-needed conservative voice to “The View,” which also features rabidly liberal co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar. Currently, Meghan McCain is the only strong Republican voice on the show and is regularly outnumbered by her anti-Trump colleagues on the issues.
"ABC has sought a second conservative host on 'The View' and has been eager to sign Huntsman for some time, according to two sources familiar with the network’s plans, although it’s unclear when negotiations began," HuffPost’s Yashar Ali reported.
The liberal bias of "The View" was put on full display last week after Whoopi got into a screaming match with Judge Jeanine Pirro and proceeded to kick her out of the studio.
"When I went off the stage, Sean, I’m walking downstairs and I said something like, ‘Whoopi I fought for victims my whole life.’ And she came at me as I was leaving and she said ‘F you’ in my face — literally spitting at me, ‘F you, get the F out of this building,’" Pirro recalled in a radio interview with Sean Hannity.
However, Judge Jeanine got the last laugh. Whoopi's nasty treatment helped send her book sales went through the roof.
"I do want to thank Whoopi and the ladies for helping to make my book number one on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. So go out and get a copy if you haven't already," Judge Jeanine later said on Fox News.
