WATCH: Abortion Survivor's Powerful Story Leaves Dems SILENT During Hearing

Abortion survivor Melissa Ohden delivered powerful testimony to Congress in defense of the unborn on Tuesday, asking lawmakers where her “rights” were in the womb.

“We hear all this talk about ‘women’s rights,’ but I beg the question, where we my rights in the womb?” Ohden asked.

She continued: “Where are the rights of the little girls who are going to lose their lives to abortion every single day? Where are my rights now as a woman who survived an abortion? Where are the rights of my daughters who never would have lived if that abortion would have succeeded in ending my life?”

These are questions that Democrats, of course, cannot answer. All they could do was sit in silence.

Watch Ohden’s incredibly moving testimony below:

Ohden was speaking out in support of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would ban abortion after 20 weeks.

“This bill amends the federal criminal code to make it a crime for any person to perform or attempt to perform an abortion if the probable post-fertilization age of the fetus is 20 weeks or more,” the bill states. “A violator is subject to criminal penalties—a fine, up to five years in prison, or both.”

The bill provides exceptions for rape, incest, and to protect the life of the mother.

“The bill provides exceptions for an abortion: (1) that is necessary to save the life of the pregnant woman, or (2) when the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest. A physician who performs or attempts to perform an abortion under an exception must comply with specified requirements,” the bill reads.

The proposed legislation continues: “A woman who undergoes an abortion or attempted abortion may file a civil action for damages against an individual who violates the provisions of this bill.”

Democrats have grown increasingly extreme on the issue of abortion, sometimes endorsing abortion all the way up until the moment of birth.
