In breaking news Friday morning, a 56-year-old man was arrested in connection to the packages, according to CNN's law enforcement sources. According to The Hill, authorities took him into custody in South Florida. Details are scarce, and no identity or motive have been released.

Two more prominent Democrats have received suspicious packages, CNN reported on Friday, after a string of other suspicious packages and “suspected explosive devices” were found this week addressed to other influential Democrats.

Now this time, one of them is sending a nationwide alarm, saying he believes that every public critic of President Trump is in danger of getting a package bomb.

According to Bloomberg, a suspicious package addressed to Sen. Cory Booker’s  (D-N.J.) office was found in Florida — a state where many law enforcement sources believe the packages may have originated from. The package is said to resemble the others.

The same is true of a package sent to former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who served during the Obama administration. It was found at a New York City post office and was addressed to Clapper at CNN headquarter’s address, much like the one sent to CNN earlier this week with former CIA Director John Brennan’s name on it.

The package to Clapper had a return address from former Democratic National Convention spokeswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz — the same as many of the other packages. Her office is in Florida and received one of the packages inaccurately addressed to former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. It does not appear that authorities are investigating her.

“I think anyone who has in any way been a critic, publicly been a critic of President Trump, needs to be on an extra alert and take some precautions, particularly with respect to mail,” Clapper warned.

De Niro took a political approach, using the attacks to urge Democrats to show up at the polls, saying, "There's something more powerful than bombs, and that's your vote. People must vote!"

Trump countered him, writing on Twitter, "Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this 'Bomb' stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows — news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!"

Billionaire Democrat donor George Soros, former President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), former Vice President Joe Biden, and Hollywood actor Robert De Niro have also received similar packages.
