Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has a brilliant doppelganger: an 8-year-old girl.
Not only does Ana Martinez look strikingly similar to the socialist congresswoman, she knows how to act and sound a whole lot like her. And it’s absolutely hilarious.
Now, after bringing down the house in a video mocking Ocasio-Cortez’ completely unrealistic Green New Deal and ignorance about socialism, Martinez has hit her again in a hilarious follow-up video.
In her first video, the precocious 8-year-old said, “I want to talk about, like, climate change. Because, like, there’s no doubt cow farts are making the climate change Like, in July, the climate was 96 degrees, and in February, the climate was 36 degrees. OMG, like that’s a huge change in the climate in only...four months!”
“Like, at this rate, the world is going to end in exactly 12 years,” she added, intentionally getting her math wrong. “And, like, I’m only 29 years old now, so the world will be over when I’m only 37 years old!”
Now in her follow-up video, Martinez pretended to be a victim forced to mock AOC by her crazy right-wing parents.
“I’m going to talk about the three branches of the U.S. government, which are the Nina, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria,” the 8-year-old impersonator began while wearing AOC-style glasses and lipstick.”
The girl suddenly paused and looked off-screen before declaring in a hushed voice, “OK they’re gone. Please help me! My parents are making me do these videos.”
“They’re crazy right-wingers,” she continued with a look of disgust on her face. “They watch Fox News and listen to Rush Limbaugh and some Russian guy named Trump.”
“I just want to have a normal childhood like Britney Spears or Lindsey Lohan, but they think doing these AOC [unintelligible] videos will get me in Harvard so I don’t have to bribe my way in and pretend I’m one-sixthteenth Cherokee,” Martinez added.
“Please send someone,” she begged her followers. “Send ICE or the FBI, but not James Comey. I’m too young to be wearing lipstick, and these glasses are hurting my eyes!”
“Uh oh, here they come,” she exclaimed, slipping back into her AOC impersonator role. “And that’s why rich people don’t deserve any of their money, no matter how hard they work!”
Take a look:
Well played, mini-AOC. Well played.
