Alec Baldwin Claims Trump is ‘A Curse Brought Down on Us’ for Slavery, Native American Genocide, Vietnam

Actor and comedian Alec Baldwin is known for being one of the most vocal anti-President Trump people in Hollywood, but his newest hate-filled rant should win an Academy Award for craziness.

On his Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation Twitter page Sunday, Baldwin wrote, “Trump is a curse, brought down on us as punishment 4 our sins. The slaughter of Native Americans, slavery, Japanese internment, Vietnam. Every hateful, misogynistic, racist notion, intertwined w our better nature, Trump embodies those. He is us. Now we can face it + exorcise it.”

While many of his Twitter followers — frighteningly — agreed with all his bizarre claims, others kept their brain cells intact and pointed out a few things:

Also on Sunday, Baldwin wrote on Twitter: “Remember that once Trump is gone, by whatever means, + is replaced by a competent/duly elected successor, it will be necessary 4 all in this country 2 offer their support 2 that man/woman. Regardless of party. The period of healing for us will be long + will require our best.”

So if a Republican is elected president after Trump’s first or second term is complete, they’ll get full support? Good news for them!
