Democrats will make a push to impeach President Donald Trump after Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report cleared the president of “collusion” with Russia during the 2016 election.

Now that the collusion conspiracy has crumbled to dust, Democrats are clinging to a new conspiracy that Trump “obstructed justice.”

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced on Thursday that she would be signing on to launch impeachment proceedings.

“Mueller’s report is clear in pointing to Congress’ responsibility in investigating obstruction of justice by the President,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “It is our job as outlined in Article 1, Sec 2, Clause 5 of the US Constitution.”

She added: “As such, I’ll be signing onto @RashidaTlaib’s impeachment resolution.”

“While I understand the political reality of the Senate + election considerations, upon reading this DoJ report, which explicitly names Congress in determining obstruction, I cannot see a reason for us to abdicate from our constitutionally mandated responsibility to investigate,” she wrote in a subsequent tweet.

AOC went on to claim that she takes “no pleasure in discussions of impeachment,” though no one is buying that line.

“I didn’t campaign on it, & rarely discuss it unprompted,” she wrote. “We all prefer working on our priorities: pushing Medicare for All, tackling student loans, & a Green New Deal.”

The socialist Democrat concluded: “But the report squarely puts this on our doorstep.”

Earlier in the day, Attorney General William Barr put the final nail in the "collusion" coffin during a press conference.

"The Special Counsel’s report did not find any evidence that members of the Trump campaign or anyone associated with the campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these hacking operations," Barr said.
