Authorities Reveal California Shooter’s Final CHILLING Facebook Post

The gunman who opened fire and killed 11 people at the Borderline Bar & Grill in California earlier this week reportedly published one final and chilling social media post before he carried out the massacre.

The gunman, 28-year-old Ian David Long, reportedly posted the message on Facebook around the time of the attack, CNN reported.

“I hope people call me insane… (laughing emojis).. wouldn’t that just be a big ball of irony? Yeah.. I’m insane, but the only thing you people do after these shootings is ‘hopes and prayers’.. or ‘keep you in my thoughts’… every time… and wonder why these keep happening,” the post reads.

One of Long’s friends told CNN the message didn’t sound like him.

"That does not sound like Ian to me at all. I don't know what was going through his head when he wrote this. It must have been terrible,” he said.

In a bizarre twist, Long's final Facebook post closely resembles the stunning message CNN anchor Chris Cuomo had for his viewers on Thursday night.

"You mock those who lost loved ones" in shootings "when you offer thoughts & prayers...And prayer? You think leaving it to God is the answer?"

Cuomo: "is it ridiculous" to ask if we would act if a "stadium full of children...holding puppies...were all shot & killed?

“You mock those who lost loved ones because if you gave it any thought at all you would never walk away from any of these without figuring out a better way to deal with them,” Cuomo said. “And prayer? You think leaving it to God is the answer?”

The CNN anchor then asked what it would take for the nation to act on gun violence.

“How about stadium full of children of the most influential people in our society all holding puppies? What if they were all shot & killed? Would we act? … Is it ridiculous? More ridiculous than doing nothing?”

The "something" he is likely referring to is gun control, even though the California gunman purchased his handgun legally.
