While the media attack President Donald Trump’s decision to serve fast food during a reception for the champion Clemson Tigers, freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence gave the president’s menu a glowing review.
"It was awesome,” Lawrence told TMZ Sports through a smile. “We had McDonald's and everything. It was good!”
The quarterback also said he would like to visit the White House several more times — meaning he is still hungry for more championships.

Due to the government shutdown, President Trump paid for the food out of his own pocket.
“Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House,” Trump tweeted. “Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamburgers etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!”
"So I had a choice -- do we have no food for you because we have a shutdown or do we give you some little quick salads that the First Lady will make along w/ the Second Lady? They'll make some salads? & I said you guys aren't into salads," Trump joked.

Still, the media and liberals couldn't resist attacking President Trump, even if he was trying to be responsible with taxpayer dollars.
