Controversial CNN reporter Jim Acosta attempted to deliver a stand-up report at a Trump rally in Tampa on Tuesday — but the pro-Trump crowd had different plans.

When Acosta grabbed his mic and started reporting, the rally crowd completely drowned him out with chants of “CNN sucks!”

Supporters of President Donald Trump also held up signs behind Acosta, including one that read, “Blacks for Trump.”

Acosta seemed a little flustered, but he attempted to continue doing his job amid the anti-CNN chant.

President Trump and Acosta have butted heads repeatedly at the White House. Acosta has become known for screaming questions at Trump out of turn, including at inappropriate times and during events like the White House Easter Egg Roll.

On Monday, Acosta was literally shouted down by a White House aide after he shouted questions at Trump about unproven allegations of collusion between his 2016 campaign and Russia.

"Make your way out. Let’s go. Move, Jim, let’s go. Keep going, Jim, let’s go. Jim, we’re leaving. Come on, Jim. Go. We’re done," the aide shot back.

President Trump has declared on several occasions that CNN is "fake news." On Tuesday, he claimed the "Fake News Media" would suffer a ratings collapse when he is out of office.

"The Fake News Media is going CRAZY! They are totally unhinged and in many ways, after witnessing first hand the damage they do to so many innocent and decent people, I enjoy watching," he tweeted. "In 7 years, when I am no longer in office, their ratings will dry up and they will be gone!"

Do you agree with Trump about the media?
