The dramatic duo Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson — best known as Diamond and Silk — have made a name for themselves as outspoken President Trump supporters who also happen to be female and African-American.

After gaining fame through their unique political commentary videos, they appeared on stage with Trump and got a job with the Fox News Channel’s “Fox Nation.”

Now they’re ripping a white Democratic congressman who is getting away with a stunt they consider “racially insensitive.”

According to Fox News, Rep. Steven Cohen (D-Tenn.) decided to mock Attorney General Bill Barr for not showing up for a Congressional hearing on Thursday after being repeatedly called a liar to his face by congressional Democrats the day before.

The Democratic leaders were upset that his release of the Mueller Report didn’t condemn Trump, and they were letting their anger fly.

In response to Barr’s absence, Cohen chowed down on a bucket full of Kentucky Fried Chicken at the House Judiciary Committee hearing and declared that Barr was “too chicken” to attend.

Diamond and Silk condemned his stunt as racially insensitive. Black people loving fried chicken is an old racial stereotype, according to NPR. A professional golfer got in trouble a few years back for joking that he wanted to serve fried chicken to Tiger Woods.

While the conservative duo were likely not actually offended by what Cohen probably didn’t intend to be a racial act, they pointed out that if a Republican had consumed a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken in a public Capitol Hill meeting, he would have likely been labeled a racist no matter what his intention.

“Can you imagine if that was a Republican doing that to a Democrat? Just think about that for a moment,” Diamond asked the hosts of “Fox & Friends.”

“But I want you all to understand the reason why the attorney general is experiencing all of this slander is because the Democrats are afraid,” she continued. “They are getting caught up in the shenanigans who orchestrated and masterminded this Russia witch-hunt hoax.”

“And once that comes out, I mean, it's going to blow up in their faces,” she said. “So what they are going to try to do, they are going to try to smear him.”

“They smear him because they fear him.”

“They fear that he is going to get to the truth. This is not about the attorney general taking up for President Trump,” Diamond added. “He is taking up for the truth. He is putting the truth and the facts out there. And that's what the American people want to see him do.”
