It would be the debate of the century: conservative commentator Candace Owens intellectually and repeatedly body slamming socialist congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

But will it happen? Owens is hoping so after her cohort Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA gathered donors together to offer Ocasio-Cortez a whopping $120,000 for a charity of her choice if she agrees to the debate.

It all started when conservative commentator and skilled debater Ben Shapiro offered Ocasio-Cortez $10,000 for her campaign if she agreed to enter the debate ring with him for an hour. He later clarified that the money could go to a charity of her choice.

Rather than accepting the challenge or politely turning it down, the Bronx and rural Yorktown Heights native employed a common liberal tactic: she accused Shapiro of being sexist.

“Just like catcalling, I don’t owe a response to unsolicited requests from men with bad intentions,” she replied on Twitter. “And also like catcalling, for some reason they feel entitled to one.”

“Catcalling must mean something different in Queens,” Shapiro scoffed in reply, adding, "’Hey, girl — want to have a public one-hour discussion on the intricacies of trade policy, deficit spending, and the value of the profit motive? I'll even donate a bunch of money to charity or your campaign to make it happen.’ — Construction worker in Queens, apparently.”

Owens asked to debate Ocasio-Cortez, too, and then upped the offer to $20,000 when she refused, writing on Twitter, “And what exactly was your excuse for having turned down the debate with me? Can’t wrap that one up in fake-feminism. I’ll double @benshapiro’s offer. 20k to a charity of your choice — a capitalism vs. socialism debate.”

After further refusal from Ocasio-Cortez, Kirk sent the offer skyrocketing Friday afternoon, posting on social media that: “I’ll up the ante inspired by @benshapiro offer - I have a group of donors that will contribute $100,000 to the charity of your choice to debate @RealCandaceO. ANY CHARITY. Why are you scared to discuss your ideas @Ocasio2018?
