On Saturday, Fox News made a move that upset a lot of their conservative viewers. They appear to have suspended Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro.

The Republican New York judge has been hosting “Justice with Judge Jeanine” on Fox News since 2011. On Saturday, though, the network chose to not air the weekend episode of her commentary show.

According to a CNN source, Pirro was suspended for questioning Rep. Omar Ilhan’s (D-Minn.) patriotism. The source says the judge has not been fired. Her suspension will last two weeks, CNN's Brian Stelter said.

Fox News condemned Pirro’s comment when she said last week, "Think about it: Omar wears a hijab. Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?"

After the condemnation, she clarified, "Of course because one is Muslim does not mean you don't support the Constitution. I invite Rep. Omar to come on my show any time to discuss all of the important issues facing America today."

Omar has not accepted the invitation. Pirro’s sudden disappearance fueled a social media outcry to bring her back. Even President Trump got onboard.

“Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro. The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country. They have all out campaigns against @FoxNews hosts who are doing too well,” he tweeted on Sunday.

“Fox must stay strong and fight back with vigor,” he continued. “Stop working soooo hard on being politically correct, which will only bring you down, and continue to fight for our Country. The losers all want what you have, don’t give it to them. Be strong & prosper, be weak & die!”

Trump added: “Stay true to the people that got you there. Keep fighting for Tucker, and fight hard for @JudgeJeanine. Your competitors are jealous — they all want what you’ve got — NUMBER ONE. Don’t hand it to them on a silver platter. They can’t beat you, you can only beat yourselves!”

With timing that has struck many Fox News viewers as odd, the network announced on Monday that they had hired former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile. In an opinion piece, Brazile said she looked forward to taking part in civil and sensible debates with other Fox News hosts, which she indicated she’d probably disagree with often.

Brazile, a self-proclaimed progressive liberal, was a commentator for CNN until she was exposed for giving Hillary Clinton’s campaign the debate questions ahead of time during the 2016 election, according to Politico. Fox News said she won’t be part of any debates they host in the future.

Many liberals were not happy with Brazile joining Fox News as a political contributor, but the conservative fans of the network were even more upset, especially in light of Pirro’s suspected suspension.

Fox News contributor Sara Carter defended the decision, writing on Twitter: “I actually think it's very important... we should have more voices and Donna Brazile will be able to bring that voice to Fox viewers. I welcome her and hope we get to a place again in this nation where policy is debated and we can hear both sides.”
