Dennis Madaris grabbed his gun, confronted the suspects and told them, “Drop the gun or I’ll drop you.”
The teens dropped their weapon and fled after Madaris’s threat.
The suspects, a 16-year-old boy and girl, were later arrested and charged with assault, possession of a firearm and attempt to commit robbery.
