In yet another example of Republicans being seriously threatened over policies, Republican Rep. Jason Lewis and his daughters have been targeted. According to Fox News, "he has contacted the police over threats to him and even his daughters in the wake of reports about controversial statements he made as a radio show host.
More recently, Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., and his daughters were also threatened this month. Which seems strange since Democrats are supposed to be all about empowering women.
This makes us wonder if they really mean it.
In another example of harassment and deadly threats Rep. Brian MAst, R-FLA., was targeted. His staffers informed him a man said, "if you are going to separate kids at the border, I'm going to kill [Brian's] kids." Oh, this guy also called the congressman's office well over 400 times.
So much tolerance is oozing from the left now it's just amazing.
Thank God they finally arrested him. The poor guy doesn't look too good in his mugshot.
Let's not forget the time a gentleman threatened the FCC commissioner and his family because he killed so-called "net neutrality" rules. They even posted cardboard signs outside his home featuring his children's names on them.
It seems like this might have slightly crossed the line.
Considering all of these stories seem quite extreme, you might be wondering what drove the crazed man to threatened Republican Rep. Jason Lewis and his daughters (the first example in this story)? According to Fox News, "The threats against Lewis came after multiple news reports about comments Lewis made while a radio show host, in particular comments he made in 2012 in response to Rush Limbaugh calling activist Sandra Fluke a "slut." Lewis had openly wondered on his radio show whether the word "slut" could still be appropriate to use in some cases, such as regarding Madonna. "
He must have really loved Madonna.
