CNN’s Jim Acosta accomplished the biggest self-own, perhaps ever, when he traveled to the U.S.-Mexico border on Thursday and declared there is no border crisis.
Standing in front of a steel slat wall, Acosta smugly proclaimed there were no signs of a “national emergency.”
“I found some steel slats down on the border,” Acosta tweeted. “But I don’t see anything resembling a national emergency situation.. at least not in the McAllen TX area of the border where Trump will be today.”

Readers were quick to point that the lack of chaos might be due to the WALL right next to him.
Acosta went on to find several McAllen residents to exploit to push his narrative.
It wouldn't be surprising if President Trump thanked Acosta for proving his point that border walls make America safer.
The president also jokingly thanked former President Barack Obama for his "support" on the border wall on Thursday.
"Because of the Democrats intransigence on Border Security and the great importance of Safety for our Nation, I am respectfully cancelling my very important trip to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. My warmest regards and apologies to the @WEF," Trump tweeted earlier.
Should Trump stand firm in his border wall fight with Democrats?
