Things got heated between Meghan McCain and Joy Behar on Monday’s edition of “The View,” particularly when Behar decide to use George H.W. Bush’s passing as an opportunity to bash President Donald Trump.
“Can we focus on the president, please. I don’t want to talk about Trump, we’re honoring a great president,” McCain said.
“Excuse me a second, please. I want to talk about–” Behar started.
McCain interrupted, “I’m not interested in your one-issue voting.”
“I don’t care what you’re interested in. I’m talking,” Behar shot back.
“Well I don’t care what you’re interested in either, Joy!” McCain added.
Watch the on-air fight below:
Whoopi Goldberg was forced to send the show to a commercial break before things got out of control. However, the fight apparently continued even after the cameras were off — and the studio audience witnessed it all.
According to a new report from the Daily Mail, Behar even threatened to quit the show.
“Behar threw her hands in the air, yelled ‘My God!’ and ‘Get this b***h under control,’” according to the report.
“If this s**t doesn’t stop I’m quitting this damn show. I can’t take this much more,” Behar allegedly said.
Producers reportedly tried to calm the liberal co-host down, but she was fuming and continued launching personal attacks on McCain.
"I’ve tolerated a lot of s**t on this show but I’m at my wits’ end with this entitled b***h. Enough already! Enough already! I’m not playing nice any longer,” Behar allegedly said loud enough for the audience to hear.
