Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) stunned CNN viewers on Friday with a blunt message to critics who don’t want him to work with President Donald Trump.
“If you don’t like me working with President Trump to make the world a better place, I don’t give a s**t.”
CNN failed to censor the expletive — and it caught CNN anchor Kate Bolduan by total surprise. She had a look of total shock on her face.
Sen. Graham has been supportive of Trump’s efforts to negotiate with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Earlier this week, Trump and the North Korean leader agreed to work toward the full denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
"The President has given Kim Jong Un a way out that is good for him and the world. I hope Kim is smart enough to take it,” Graham tweeted. “Well done, Mr. President.”
In another tweet, Graham told Trump he was proud of his “leadership.”
“I told President @realDonaldTrump I’m pleased and proud of his leadership regarding the North Korean nuclear threat,” he said. “To those who criticize him for meeting with Kim Jong Un, how do you expect this to end well if we don’t talk?”
Graham proved on Friday that he really doesn’t care what his critics think — he is going to work with the president to get things done.
