The internet was buzzing on Monday about Malia Obama, the daughter of former President Barack Obama, and her secret Facebook page.
The Daily Mail published a report revealing what Malia said about President Donald Trump on the page, sparking an intense debate about the privacy of the now 20-year-old woman.
The Facebook page, which uses a pseudonym, features a cover photo that shows an anti-Trump message in pink Post-It notes.
The messages written on them are: "Donald Trump is President,” “This is not normal,” “Donald Trump is evil” and “Don't be complacent.”
"The Facebook page offers a rare glimpse into the the former first daughter's remarkably typical teenage years," the Daily Mail reported. "In photo albums, Malia is shown relaxing on lakeside vacations and posing up a storm with her friends."
The report added: "She used it to promote causes close to her heart, including gun reform."
The Daily Mail also reported that Malia Obama was seen drinking Rose wine just shy of her 21st birthday.
The vast majority of reactions on Twitter, including from conservatives, were critical of the Daily Mail for invading her privacy.
Here are just some of the responses:
What do you think? Should everyone just leave Malia Obama alone?
