The woman accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault during their high school years in the 1980s claimed there was only one other person in the room with them during the alleged attack.

That man, Mark Judge, broke his silence on Tuesday in a bombshell statement to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.

“I did not ask to be involved in this matter nor did anyone ask me to be involved. The only reason I am involved is because Dr. Christine Blasey Ford remembers me as the other person in the room during the alleged assault,” Judge said in the statement.

He added, “In fact, I have no memory of this alleged incident. Brett Kavanaugh and I were friends in high school but I do not recall the party described in Dr. Ford’s letter. More to the point, I never saw Brett act in the manner Dr. Ford describes.”

Judge went on to explain that he doesn’t wish to speak publicly on the matter.

“I have no more information to offer the Committee and I do not wish to speak publicly regarding the incidents described in Dr. Ford’s letter,” he concluded.

Kavanaugh has also strongly denied Ford’s allegation and has offered to testify before Congress again on Monday to defend his integrity.

“This is a completely false allegation. I have never done anything like what the accuser describes—to her or to anyone,” Kavanaugh said in the statement. “Because this never happened, I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday.”

While Kavanaugh has agreed to speak to lawmakers, Grassley revealed on Tuesday that repeated attempts to contact Ford through her attorney have been unsuccessful.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Ford had yet to confirm her appearance at Monday's hearing.
