The numbers are coming in regarding provisional ballots submitted in Fulton County, Georgia and a large number were rejected for being duplicate ballots.

Democrat Stacey Abrams is now pushing hard in Fulton County, campaigning with phone banking, texts, and email blasts reaching out to people who allegedly cast provisional ballots on Election Day.

Abrams’ search for provisional ballots is a last ditch effort to find new votes for her gubernatorial election hopes.

One big problem with this is that 1,811 provisional ballots (49%) in Fulton County were duplicates, 1,556 of which (42%) were rejected.

Of the rejected ballots, three of the individuals were not citizens, 581 were not registered to vote, and 972 did not live in that county.

Regarding the elections, the midterms turned out just about as expected, the GOP maintained control of the Senate but lost the House to the Democrats. Both Republicans and Democrats could claim a “win” depending on who you support and how you choose to look at the results.

It was a midterm that lacked huge surprises in regards to congressional races, but a few gubernatorial races had surprise winners.

President Donald Trump, of course, claimed a massive success for the Republicans and took to his trusty Twitter account to praise the GOP for their victories.

“Tremendous success tonight. Thank you to all!” Trump tweeted the night of the elections.

“Received so many Congratulations from so many on our Big Victory last night, including from foreign nations (friends) that were waiting me out, and hoping, on Trade Deals. Now we can all get back to work and get things done!”

“To any of the pundits or talking heads that do not give us proper credit for this great Midterm Election, just remember two words - FAKE NEWS!”

Trump also claimed responsibility for Republican victories, agreeing with pundits who credited Trump for GOP wins.

“There’s only been 5 times in the last 105 years that an incumbent President has won seats in the Senate in the off-year election. Mr. Trump has magic about him. This guy has magic coming out of his ears. He is an astonishing vote getter and campaigner.”

“The Republicans are unbelievably lucky to have him and I’m just awed at how well they’ve done. It’s all the Trump magic - Trump is the magic man. Incredible, he’s got the entire media against him, attacking him every day, and he pulls out these enormous wins.” Ben Stein, ‘The Capitalist Code.’”

“[David Asman] ‘How do the Democrats respond to this? Think of how his position with Republicans improves-all the candidates who won tonight. They realize how important he is because of what he did in campaigning for them. They owe him their political career.’ Thanks, I agree!”
