Muslim extremists have slaughtered more than 120 Christians in the past three weeks alone in Nigeria.
The murderous extremists have used using machetes and guns across central Nigeria to kill men, women, and children without mercy.
"At least 120 people have been killed in a series of alleged attacks by the Fulani militia on Christian communities in the Adara chiefdom of southern Kaduna in Nigeria since February, according to the nonprofit group Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW)," CBN reported.
The report added: "The organization reported 52 people were killed and 100 homes were destroyed last Monday in the latest attacks on Inkirimi and Dogonnoma villages in Maro, Kajuru Local Government Area (LGA). The victims included women and children."
However, despite the horrific nature of the killings, the mainstream media has not responded with the same level of hysteria as other high-profile massacres, including the recent New Zealand attack at a mosque.
“The New York Times did not place this story on the front page; in fact, they did not cover it at all. Apparently, when assessing ‘all the news that’s fit to print,’ the massacre of African Christians did not measure up,” Breitbart reported. “The same can be said for the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Detroit Free Press, the LA Times, and every other major paper in the United States.”
The report added: “The news shows from the three major television channels did not mention the story, and nor did CNN or MSNBC.”
The New Zealand shooting was indeed a tragedy and worthy of the wall-to-wall coverage from the media. Last week, a gunman entered the Christchurch mosque and opened fire, killing 42 people.
However, the steady slaughter of Christians in Nigeria at the hands of Muslim extremists is just as newsworthy and horrifying. So why the difference in news coverage?
