It was MSNBC, of all networks, on Tuesday that reported some of the migrants in the caravan have turned back after realizing it would not be easy to gain illegal entry into the United States.
“Many of these men tell us that they heard in Honduras that it would be easy to cross into the United States,” MSNBC’s Gadi Schwartz reported.
They apparently didn’t take President Donald Trump’s warnings very seriously — but they are now.
“Now that they are here in Tijuana and they have realized that it is very difficult to get into the United States, especially after what happened on Sunday, some of them are deciding to turn back.”
The far-left network couldn’t have been happy to push reporting essentially proving that border enforcement actually works when the government enforces federal law.
Watch the video below:
U.S. Border Patrol was forced to use tear gas on the migrant caravan over the weekend after some started throwing rocks at agents.
Meanwhile, Trump is calling on Mexico to deport migrants and Congress to fund the border wall.
Mexico should move the flag waving Migrants, many of whom are stone cold criminals, back to their countries. Do it by plane, do it by bus, do it anyway you want, but they are NOT coming into the U.S.A. We will close the Border permanently if need be,” Trump tweeted. “Congress, fund the WALL!”
Surprisingly, it was also MSNBC that recently reported most of the people in the migrant caravan were actually men, not women and children as the media have suggested.
"From what we've seen, the majority are actually men, and some of these men have not articulated that need for asylum,” Schwartz previously reported.
