Groups of Central American migrants are now making demands of President Donald Trump.
Something tells us they aren’t going to like Trump’s answer.
“Two groups of Central American migrants marched to the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana on Tuesday with a list of demands, with one group delivering an ultimatum to the Trump administration: either let them in the U.S. or pay them $50,000 each to go home,” Fox News reported.
The migrants are also demanding that they be “processed through the asylum system more quickly and in greater numbers” and “that deportations be halted,” the San Diego Union Tribune also reported.
Responding to another terror attack in France, Trump shed some light on his current thinking on border security, vowing to strengthen it even more.
“Another very bad terror attack in France. We are going to strengthen our borders even more,” Trump tweeted. “Chuck and Nancy must give us the votes to get additional Border Security!”
He added: “The Democrats and President Obama gave Iran 150 Billion Dollars and got nothing, but they can’t give 5 Billion Dollars for National Security and a Wall?”
Trump has also threatened to shut down the government if necessary to secure funding for border security and a border wall.
The odds of Trump agreeing to pay off a migrant caravan to not enter the U.S. illegally seem pretty slim.
