Mike Huckabee Lets Blistering Critique of Elizabeth Warren Fly out of His Mouth

Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez burst on to the scene a few weeks ago after unseating long-time Democratic incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY) in a big upset victory.

Her far-left political stance has upset politicians on both sides of the aisle with many wondering when her 15 minutes of fame will be up.

This week Ocasio-Cortez incorrectly stated that unemployment was low because everyone is working two jobs.

This is actually a very incorrect statement as the unemployment rate is calculated by dividing the number of unemployed people by the number of people in the labor force. The number of jobs a person is working has no effect on the rate.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee was interviewed by Fox Business on Friday and he had some strong words for fact-checkers, Ocasio-Cortez, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren as well.

Hear what he had to say in the video below.

“I wonder, where are these fact-checkers that always love to fact-check conservatives and Republicans?” said Huckabee.

Sen. Warren doubled down on Ocasio-Cortez’s multiple jobs angle and said that Trump’s economic policies have not been effective as people are working “two, three, four jobs.”

“I think the real question is, Elizabeth: You have one job. It’s being a senator,” Huckabee said. “Why don’t you show up and do it, and that includes confirming some of the nominations the president has made.”

“It includes trying to do your job as a senator, rather than going around and making up stuff like a fiction writer,” he concluded.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of people who work multiple jobs is between 6-7 million people compared to the 148 million Americans who have one job.

While it is true that there are people working more than one job, it isn’t the epidemic the Democrats are trying to portray it as.

PolitiFact, a fact-checking organization, has rated Ocasio-Cortez’s claims as “pants on fire,” their rating for something extremely false and a flat-out lie.
