Mini-AOC, the 8-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez impersonator, is back with a fourth video. This time she turned a thank-you video to her slew of new Twitter followers into a hilarious jab at the young congresswoman’s intelligence and socialist policies.
Ava Martinez’ mom set up a Twitter account for her now-famous daughter just days ago, and now she has over 28,000 followers as of Friday at 1:50 p.m. Eastern. Ava thanked her followers online when she hit the 20,000 mark.
“AOC, here,” she began while wearing AOC-style glasses and lipstick. “Like, I want to say thank you to my 20,000 new followers on Twitter.”
“Like, I had 40,000 followers,” she revealed, “But, OMG, the government took half. Isn’t socialism so amazing?”
After asking her fans to follow her on Instagram, too, she said, “Gotta go. It’s going to take forever to put all this garbage in the garbage disposal.”
Ava then took a hilarious jab at Ocasio-Cortez’ terror and confusion at discovering a garbage disposal in her sink. She turned on her own disposal and pretended to stuff in a Chick-fil-A carton and In-N-Out Burger wrapper, as well as lots of other recyclable items.
If you haven’t seen the 8-year-old’s other three videos brilliantly mocking the socialist congresswoman and her policies, check them out below:
Ava doesn’t write her own lines or know much of anything about politics, her stepdad revealed in an interview, but she does enjoy tweaking the script to give it more of her own personality — which, along with her looks, remarkably matches that of Ocasio-Cortez’.
“Since Ava loves to perform and entertain, we asked her if she would like to act in a skit where she could share her talent on social media,” Salvatore Schachter explained. “She was excited to do so, and it really showed in the first video. And she was even more thrilled by the reaction to it.”
