Another batch of Hillary Clinton’s classified emails were released on Thursday, revealing that the former secretary of state discussed classified foreign policy matters on her private email server.
“A newly unearthed batch of heavily redacted, classified emails from Hillary Clinton'spersonal email server revealed that the former secretary of state discussed establishing a ‘private, 100% off-the-record’ back channel to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and that one of her top aides warned her that she was in ‘danger’ of being ‘savaged by Jewish organizations, in the Jewish press and among the phalanx of neoconservative media’ as a result of political machinations by ‘Bibi and the Jewish leadership,’” Fox News reported.
The report added: "The 756-page group of new documents, revealed Thursday as part of a transparency lawsuit by Judicial Watch, seemingly contradicted Clinton's insistence under oath in 2015that she had turned over all of her sensitive work-related emails to the State Department, and included a slew of classified communications on everything from foreign policy to State Department personnel matters.”
In 2011, Clinton had a classified conversation with then-British Prime Minister David Blair.
At one point, Clinton even directed Blair to continue using her private email for discussions.
“Tony – We are finally moving and I am looking forward to talking w you as soon as I’m confirmed, tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. Your emails are very helpful so pls continue to use this address,” firstname.lastname@example.org," Clinton reportedly wrote.
The emails are part of the 72,000 documents recovered by the FBI as part of its investigation into Clinton’s handling of classified material.
It has not been a good week for Hillary Clinton.
It was also revealed this week that a top Ukraine official has opened an investigation into whether members of his government boosted the Democratic candidate in the 2016 presidential election. That could end up being the real "collusion" after the Russia investigation has failed to produce any evidence of collusion against President Donald Trump.
