Former President Barack Obama lectured America’s most wealthy during a recent speech in South Africa. At some point, the former president said, “it’s enough.”

“Right now, I’m actually surprised by how much money I got,” Obama said.

Obama earned over $20 million between 2005 and 2016, according to the Daily Caller.

He added, “There’s only so much you can eat. There’s only so big a house you can have. There’s only so many nice trips you can take. I mean, it’s enough.”

Obama went on to endorse radical ideas like a “universal income” and reviewing the average “workweek.”

“We’re going to have to worry about economics if we want to get democracy back on track,” he said, lamenting the idea that “economic power is concentrated in the hands of the few.”

“After the speech calling for rich people to get smaller houses, Obama traveled back to America and to his $8.1 million eight-bedroom, nine-and-a-half bathroom mansion in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the world,” the Daily Caller reported.

That's a big house, Mr. President.

The report also noted that the Obamas are busy installing a swimming pool and an additional terrace to the mansion, the couple’s second home.

Will Obama lead by example and move into a house smaller than his $8 million mansion?
