Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) found herself getting mocked again after she claimed that the “Salute to America” event President Trump hosted in Washington, D.C. for Independence Day was “poorly attended.”

Her Twitter followers were quick to point out differently.

“Trump spent millions on a poorly attended, 1 day parade days after saying he couldn’t afford toothpaste & soap for caged children,” AOC wrote on Twitter Friday morning. “Did he ask Congress for military parade💰? No. Trump held these kids hostage to secure billions for their abusers. Congress needs to see that.”

That’s when people started replying to her with photo evidence.

Some liberals even claimed the photos were faked, prompting left-leaning Snopes to investigate and determine that the key photo Trump shared showing the large crowd was, in fact, real.

Fox News report that a “massive crowd gathered on the Lincoln Memorial despite the rain,” which at times poured down.

Meanwhile, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden took a shot at Ocasio-Cortez and other far-left progressives in the Democrat party during an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo.

He dismissed Cuomo’s assertion that the socialist ideas being put across by other presidential candidates are “advanced ideas,” pointing out that “mainstream Democrats” won the general election battles last time around.

In other AOC news, former House speaker Newt Gingrich wrote an op-ed piece for Fox News calling Ocasio-Cortez “vicious, cruel and dishonest — and determined to destroy the America we know.”

“It is time for decent people to stand up to her and ask: “Have you no shame?” Gingrich wrote.
