In what appears to many to be an attempt to get Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reelected in 2020 as she faces three possible Republican challengers who will be much tougher than a glass of water to defeat, Netflix has created a documentary about four female politicians — the most well-known being AOC.
Ocasio-Cortez promoted the film on Twitter recently, leading so many people to play a game of “No thanks, I’d rather…” to describe what miseries they’d rather endure than sit through her documentary.
Some of them were, frankly, quite hilarious.
In other news, Ocasio-Cortez had an invitation to Kentucky rescinded after her huge 9/11 faux pas.
According to CNN, the young congresswoman was initially invited by Rep. Andy Barr (R-Ky.) to visit the Bluegrass State to get an idea of how her Green New Deal would destroy the coal industry there.
Then AOC got in trouble for getting into a spat with Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Tx.), accusing him of doing nothing to help the victims of 9/11, despite the fact that he lost an eye while fighting terrorists in Afghanistan following 9/11.
After that incident, Barr appeared to cancel Ocasio-Cortez’ invitation. She’ll be going to Kentucky anyway.
