It’s already being talked about as a contender for “photo of the year,” and it’s only January.

However, this photo of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s returned luggage sitting alone on a cart in the halls of Congress was breaking the internet on Thursday.

The cart of Pelosi’s luggage had to be returned after President Donald Trump abruptly canceled her foreign trip amid the government shutdown fight over border security.

The cart was labeled “Codel Pelosi.”

The internet absolutely loved it.

But Pelosi wasn't the only Democrat affected by Trump's decision to cancel the trip. Several Democrats got stuck on a bus after they got the news that they wouldn't be going on any trip.

In a letter to Pelosi on Thursday, Trump wrote:

“Dear Madame Speaker:

Due to the shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate. I also feel that during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.

I look forward to seeing you soon and even more forward to watching our open and dangerous Southern Border finally receive the attention, funding, and security it so desperately deserves.”

The president's decision came after Pelosi said the State of the Union would have to be postponed for "security" reasons, even after the Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security refuted her claim.

Trump clearly isn't going to put up with any more games from Pelosi or Democrats.
