A petition has been launched to revoke CNN contributor April Ryan’s White House credentials after she said Sarah Sanders need to have her “head lopped off.”
“Not only does she not have credibility, she lied,” Ryan said on CNN. “The American people can’t trust her. They can’t trust what’s said from the president’s mouthpiece, spokesperson, from the people’s house.”
She continued: “Therefore, she should be let go, she should be fired. End of story.”
But it was Ryan’s next sentence that has many conservatives outraged.
“When there is a lack of credibility there, you have to start and start lopping the heads off… she needs to go,” Ryan added.

The petition to revoke Ryan’s White House credentials launched with a goal of 2,000 signatures — and the mark was crossed in less than one day.
“We at OurStand.org stand with Mike Huckabee and Sarah Sanders 100% and demand April Ryan’s press pass be revoked immediately!” the petition states.
The White House press secretary’s father, Gov. Mike Huckabee, rushed to his daughter’s defense and also called for the revocation of Ryan’s credentials.
“Will the @whca revoke April Ryan’s credentials? If not, they are gutless tools,” he tweeted. “CNN’s April Ryan Says Sarah Sanders' Head Should Be ‘Lopped Off.’”
Democrats will accuse President Donald Trump of "inciting violence" against Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) by quoting her own words, but they refuse to condemn Ryan for her politically charged and violent statement targeting Sanders.
