The Justice Department’s internal watchdog released a massive, 500-page report on the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal — and it contains several bombshells.
Included in the report were several messages exchanged by FBI agents that show a clear bias against Donald Trump.
In one of the most damning exchanges, FBI agents Lisa Page and Peter Strzok spoke about “stopping” Trump from becoming president.
"[Trump's] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page asked.
"No. No he won't. We'll stop it,” Strzok responded.
Strzok was the lead agent in the Clinton email investigation. Page has since left the FBI.
In another exchange, two officials identified as only “FBI Attorney 2” and “FBI Employee” mourned Trump’s victory over Clinton.
“I am numb,” FBI Attorney 2 wrote.
“I can’t stop crying,” FBI Employee responded.
FBI Attorney 2 later wondered what could have been done differently to prevent Trump from winning the election.
“I am so stressed about what I could have done differently,” the official said, later adding, “We broke the momentum.”
FBI employee tried to comfort his or her colleague by bashing Trump supporters as “poor,” “uneducated,” and “lazy.”
“Trump’s supporters are all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS that think he will magically grant them jobs for doing nothing,” the FBI official wrote. “They probably didn’t watch the debates, aren’t fully educated on his policies and are stupidly wrapped up in his unmerited enthusiasm.”
How can the American people possibly trust these officials to conduct fair and unbiased investigations?
