White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders proved again on Thursday why she is brilliant at her job. She took on of the most antagonistic reporters in the press corps, refusing to let the man get the upper hand through his constant interruptions while dousing him with a deluge of facts.

It took place during the daily briefing when CNN’s Jim Acosta demanded from Sanders, “On these children who are being separated from their families as they come across the border, the attorney general [Jeff Sessions] earlier today said that somehow there’s a justification for this in the Bible. Where does it say in the Bible that it’s moral to take children away from their mothers?”

“I’m not aware of the attorney general’s comments, or what he would be referencing.” Sanders, the daughter of a Christian minister and former Arkansas governor, replied. “I can say that is very biblical to enforce the law. That is actually repeated a number of times throughout the Bible.”

As Acosta continued to try to interrupt her before she could finish, she told him, “Hold on, Jim. I’m not going to comment on what the attorney general said.”

But after he continued to badger her, she shot back, “I know it’s hard for you to even understand short sentences, I guess, but please don’t take my words out of context. The separation of illegal alien families is the product of the same legal loopholes that Democrats refuse to close.”

“These laws are the same that have been on the books for over a decade, and the president is simply enforcing them,” she added, slamming back again against the narrative the CNN reporter was trying to push.

Acosta didn’t appear to be listening to what she said, repeating, “How is it a moral policy to take children away from their parents?”

“It’s a moral policy to follow the law,” Sanders replied as Acosta continued to try to talk over her.

“Why is the government doing this?” Acosta demanded.

“Because it’s the law,” Sanders responded. “And that’s what the law states.”

“You guys don’t have to do that,” the reporter insisted.

“You’re right, it doesn’t have to be the law,” the White House press secretary agreed before putting it in the clearest terms possible. “The president has actually called on Democrats in Congress to fix those loopholes. The Democrats have failed to come to the table; failed to help this president close these loopholes and fix this problem.”

Acosta opened his mouth but found nothing to say and simply nodded as Sanders added, “We don’t want this to be a problem. The president has tried to address it [on] a number of occasions. We’ve laid out a proposal, and Democrats simply refuse to do their job and fix the problem.”

According to NBC News, as Acosta tried to object to Sanders completely turning his Trump attack back around on Democrats, she simply replied, “Sorry, Jim, I’ve given you enough time.”

And that’s why America loves her so much. And, no, she’s not quitting, despite what a false CBS report suggested on Tuesday. She loves her job and intends to keep doing it.
