Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) was going viral for all the reasons on Tuesday night after President Donald Trump's State of the Union address after he was caught smirking while the president discussed the horrors of late-term abortion.
“There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our nation saw in recent days,” Trump said. “Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments from birth.”
During his remarks on abortion, the camera cut to Schumer sitting in the crowd, showing the New York Democrat smirking at the idea.
Americans spotted the creepy smile immediately.
Still, Trump went on with his bold pro-life message.
“These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and their dreams with the world,” Trump continued.
The president went on to condemn Democrat Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s defense of late-term abortion and even infanticide in some cases.
That’s when he stunned Democrats with demand for legislation to protect the unborn.
“I am asking Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb,” Trump said.

After a rousing standing ovation, he added: “Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth: All children, born and unborn, are made in the holy image of God."
