A senior White House official reportedly revealed what he referred to as “The Trump Doctrine” — and the media is spinning its wheels trying to process it.

The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg asked the White House official, who is not identified, if there is a definitive “Trump Doctrine.”

“There’s definitely a Trump Doctrine,” the official responded.

“What is it?” Goldberg asked.

“The Trump Doctrine is ‘We’re America, B***h.’ That’s the Trump Doctrine,” the White House official responded.

It should be noted that the colorful description of the so-called Trump Doctrine was likely coined by the unnamed official, not President Donald Trump himself. However, the phrase, while controversial, describes the president’s “America first” attitude.

The White House official went on to explain the meaning behind the doctrine, citing former President Barack Obama’s need to apologize for America.

“Obama apologized to everyone for everything. He felt bad about everything,” the official said. “[Trump] doesn’t feel like he has to apologize for anything America does.”

Goldberg said a second official described the Trump Doctrine as “We’re America, B***hes.”

“The president believes that we’re America, and people can take it or leave it,” that official added.

President Trump is set to meet North Korea's Kim Jong Un for a historic summit in Singapore at 9 p.m. EST on Monday. The United States is seeking the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. It's the first time a sitting U.S. president has met with the leader of North Korea.

"The fact that I am having a meeting is a major loss for the U.S., say the haters & losers. We have our hostages, testing, research and all missile launches have [stopped], and these pundits, who have called me wrong from the beginning, have nothing else they can say! We will be fine," Trump tweeted on Monday before the meeting.

Trump said he would probably know within one minute whether Jong Un is serious about making a deal.
