It has been nothing but trouble for TV host Samantha Bee ever since she called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c--t” on her TBS show “Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.” Many have called for her show’s cancellation, citing a double standard after ABC canceled “Roseanne” after star Roseanne Barr posted an offensive tweet.

Freedom of speech is a right given to every American, but so also are the consequences of the words you speak. Rightly so, advertisers have begun to pull their sponsorship of “Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.”

Autotrader was the first to cut its ties with the show.

“Thank you for those who reached out regarding our sponsorship of Full Frontal,” said Autotrader on Twitter. “The comments expressed by Samantha Bee were offensive and unacceptable and do not reflect the views of our company. As a result, we have suspended our sponsorship of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.”

On Friday, State Farm announced that they too have suspended their advertising on the show.

“We have asked TBS to suspend our advertising in the program and are reviewing any future placements,” said State Farm. “We constantly review programs to ensure alignment with our programming guidelines and brand values.”

Samanta Bee’s vulgar statement was regarding a social media post by Ivanka Trump of her and her son.

“You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c--t,” said Bee.

Samantha Bee has since apologized for her comments

“I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night,” said Bee on Twitter. “It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I  crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.”

TBS also issued a statement on Twitter.

“Samantha Bee has taken the right action in apologizing for the vile and inappropriate language she used about Ivanka Trump last night,” said TBS. “Those words should not have been aired. It was our mistake too, and we regret it.”
