White House adviser Stephen Miller got into an intense exchange with CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer over the much talked-about border wall fight in Congress.
Miller made it clear that President Donald Trump is determined to build the wall now.
“He wants to build the wall by getting the money now just like the president was very clear leading up to this funding fight,” Miller said. “Right now as we speak, there is a surge of illegal immigration heading towards our country that presents a national crisis now. Not a month from now, not a year from now, right now.”
He continued, his voice increasing in volume: “And this president took an oath, like every lawmaker in Congress to defend the citizens of this country. How many more citizens have to die in the pursuit of an open borders agenda?” Miller asked, with his voice steadily rising.
Miller got so animated that Blitzer actually had to put the segment on hold and ask him to calm down.
“Calm down a minute, we don’t have to yell. These are important policy issues that we’re discussing,” Blitzer said.
He added: The American people have a right to know where you and the president, the White House stands.”

Miller made sure the American people understood the White House’s position.
President Trump has urged Democrats to approve $5 billion in funding for the border wall and border security.
“Democrats, it is time to come together and put the SAFETY of the AMERICAN PEOPLE before POLITICS,” Trump tweeted. “Border security must become a #1 priority!”
After Trump threatened to veto any spending bill that doesn’t include border security funding, House passed a spending bill that included border security, sending it to the Senate for a final vote.
If Democrats refuse to pass the bill, it’s likely that the government could shut down.
