A stunning new poll released on Wednesday shows President Donald Trump’s approval rating among black voters has nearly doubled in the past year. It’s dramatically different than the narrative being pushed by the media.
The new Rasmussen Reports poll found 36 percent of black voters approved of Trump’s job performance. In 2017, that number was 19 percent.
That’s a huge jump.
It could have to do with the fact that black unemployment fell to 5.9 percent earlier this year, which is the lowest its been since the government started tracking the data in 1972.
“Black unemployment dropped sharply last month, down from 6.6% in April. The gap between black and white unemployment shrank to 2.4 percentage points, the first time on record it's been less than 3 points,” CNN Money reported.
Despite his critics calling him “racist,” Trump says he is proud of the strides being made by the black community and ALL Americans under his administration.
“It’s wonderful, wonderful news. It cannot be overrated what this president has done for the black community,” activist Candace Owens recently said.
She added, “I’m just so proud, and it’s a great time to be a black American, I’ll tell you that much.”
“I am proud to have fought for and secured the LOWEST African American and Hispanic unemployment rates in history,” Trump recently tweeted. “Now I’m pushing for prison reform to give people who have paid their debt to society a second chance. I will never stop fighting for ALL Americans!”
Time will tell if Trump's support in the black community will continue to grow!
