New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady found himself in the left’s crosshairs before the Super Bowl even kicked off on Sunday.

The Daily Beast even published an article claiming the Patriots are the “preferred team of white nationalists,” all because Brady and head coach Bill Belichick are on friendly terms with President Donald Trump. Brady also owns a MAGA hat, which further triggered liberals.

However, just when it seemed the left was as triggered as they could be, Brady called an audible during the Super Bowl on Sunday that made them even angrier.

“Reagan! Reagan,” Brady shouted at the line of scrimmage.

Listen to the call below:

NFL announcer and former quarterback Tony Romo noticed it immediately.

“Is that Reagan as in Ronald Reagan?” Romo asked. "Obviously Reagan means 'run to the right.'"

The reactions on Twitter were comical on both sides:

When you're right, you're right – if you know what we mean.

The Patriots went on to win the game 13-3, mostly due to a masterful defensive performance.

Brady has now won six Super Bowls, the most of any player in NFL history. It's an astonishing record that will likely not be broken in lifetimes.

Further, Brady and the Patriots are now headed to the White House for an official team visit with President Trump.
