President Donald Trump continues to make good on a big campaign promise to donate all of his presidential salary to good causes.

On Wednesday, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced Trump has donated his second quarterly salary, about $100,000 to the Small Business Administration.

Administrator Linda McMahon personally thanked President Trump, telling reporters the money will be used to fund a program that gives assistance to America’s veterans looking to start their own companies.

"It will be put to very good use," McMahon said.

The jobs program, titled “Emerging Leaders,” provides up to seven months of training to “veterans transitioning from military life into the private sector,” the Hill reported.

Trump has yet to take a single cent in presidential salary. Many times, he has donated his salary to help veterans.

The president donated his first quarter salary in 2018 to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

In 2017, Trump donated his salary to the Health and Human Services Department to assist in the opioid epidemic, the National Park Service, and the Education Department.

This is merely the latest effort by Trump to help veterans. He has made it a huge priority in his administration.

That’s what real leadership looks like.
