President Donald Trump exploded on CNN reporter Jim Acosta during a Wednesday press conference, calling him a “rude, terrible person.”
Acosta asked the president about the incoming migrant caravan, claiming it isn’t an “invasion.”
“I consider it an invasion,” Trump said. “You and I have a difference of opinion.”
When Acosta asked him if he thinks he “demonized” immigrants, Trump responded immediately, “Not at all.”
“I want them to come into the country, but they have to come in legally,” he added.
The CNN reporter then criticized the president for endorsing a political ad that shows illegal immigrants jumping over border walls and breaking the law.
“That’s true, they weren’t actors,” Trump said. “Do you think they were actors? They weren’t actors. They didn’t come from Hollywood.”
When Acosta continued to pester him, Trump eventually had enough.
“I think you should let me run the country, you ruin CNN — and if you did it well, you’re ratings would be much better,” Trump said.

The president attempted to move on to another reporter, but Acosta absolutely refused to give up the spotlight.
“That’s enough,” Trump barked.
He then unloaded on Acosta in front of the entire press corps when he continued shouting into the microphone.
"CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are rude, terrible person,” Trump shot back. “You shouldn’t be working for CNN."
