A furious Donald Trump Jr. responded to Peter Fonda on Wednesday after the Hollywood actor said Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s 12-year-old son, should be kidnapped and put in a “cage with pedophiles.”

“We should rip Barron Trump from his mother’s arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles and see if mother will stand up against the giant a**hole she is married to. 90 million people in the streets on the same weekend in the country," Fonda tweeted on Wednesday.

He has since cowardly deleted his tweet.

Trump Jr. blasted Fonda as a “sick individual,” and then threw down an open challenge to the actor.

“You’re clearly a sick individual and everyone is an internet badass but rather than attack an 11 year old like a bully and a coward why don’t you pick on someone a bit bigger,” Trump Jr. tweeted. “LMK (let me know).”

Those sound like fighting words. Trump Jr. likely isn’t holding his breath for Fonda to accept the challenge as men who attack children don’t tend to be particularly brave.

Trump Jr. also retweeted this "boycott alert" concerning Fonda's new movie that is being released by Sony Pictures.

First Lady Melania Trump reported the threat against her son to the Secret Service on Wednesday. Fonda should be expecting a visit any day now.

“The tweet is sick and irresponsible and USSS has been notified,” a spokesperson for the first lady told the Daily Caller.

President Trump has yet to address Fonda threatening his son. Even if he doesn't comment publicly, there is almost no chance the president won't protect his son.

You don't mess with a man's family.
