Since the media has so far refused to report the truth about the crisis at the border, President Donald Trump brought the truth directly to them on Monday.
Speaking to reporters in front of a newly built border wall in Calexico, California, Trump invited several law enforcement officials to give the media a lesson on the national security and humanitarian crisis presented by illegal immigration.
“It looks great. It’s better and much more effective than the previous wall,” Trump said. “We can do it faster, and it’s less expensive if you can believe it. So it’s better, faster, and less expensive.”
Trump also explained why he wants the border walls to be see-through so Border Patrol agents can see through to the other side and defend against potential threats.
However, it was when an Arizona sheriff stepped up to speak that the media were bombarded with the undeniable truth.
Pima County Sheriff Mark Napier made it clear that border walls are absolutely vital to protect the border and contain the humanitarian crisis unfolding at the U.S.-Mexico border.
He also took a thinly veiled swipe at the media and those who claim there is no crisis.
"Anyone who would suggest we do not have a crisis on our Southern border is being intellectually dishonest to the point of being dishonest with malice,” Pima County Sheriff Mark Napier said.
He continued: “We have a humanitarian crisis, which is very clear and compelling. We have a compelling crisis of public safety with human trafficking, drug trafficking, sex trafficking coming up through the border. This is not make believe.”

The sheriff also commended President Trump and his administration for its efforts to combat the border crisis. The president has, however, been obstructed by pro-illegal immigration Democrats every step of the way.
