Trump Slams Michael Cohen in Press Conference – ‘Weak and Not a Very Smart Person’

Michael Cohen pleaded guilty on Thursday to lying to Congress about communicating with Russia in the run-up to the 2016 General Election.

Later on Thursday morning, President Donald Trump held a brief press conference where he went after Cohen and his credibility.

See what he had to say in the videos below:

President Trump claimed that Cohen is a “weak person and not a very smart person” and “he’s trying to get a reduced sentence.”

The issue revolves around the development of a Trump Tower hotel in Moscow, a “well-known project” that “everyone knew about” according to President Trump.

Earlier, Trump went after Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Monday via his trusty Twitter account, questioning his honesty and integrity.

The pair of tweets were sent out early in the morning and dealt with the impending Mueller investigation’s final report.

“When Mueller does his final report, will he be covering all of his conflicts of interest in a preamble,” President Trump tweeted. “Will he be recommending action on all of the crimes of many kinds from those “on the other side”(whatever happened to Podesta?), and will he be putting in statements from hundreds of people closely involved with my campaign who never met, saw or spoke to a Russian during this period?”

“So many campaign workers, people inside from the beginning, ask me why they have not been called (they want to be). There was NO Collusion & Mueller knows it!”

As soon as the midterm election was over with, President Donald Trump asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions to step down from his position, which many have suspected is due to his recusal from Robert Mueller’s Russian election collusion investigation.

President Trump has become increasingly frustrated with the looming Mueller investigation and lack of any conclusion as it has dragged on for months on end. Trump also remains distrustful of the media and their persistent negative coverage of his administration and his presidency so far.

On Thursday morning, President Trump went to his favorite place to vent his frustrations: Twitter. Here’s what he had to say:

“The White House is running very smoothly and the results for our Nation are obviously very good. We are the envy of the world,” wrote President Trump. “But anytime I even think about making changes, the FAKE NEWS MEDIA goes crazy, always seeking to make us look as bad as possible! Very dishonest!”

The inner workings of the Mueller investigation are a total mess. They have found no collusion and have gone absolutely nuts,” the president continued. “They are screaming and shouting at people, horribly threatening them to come up with the answers they want.”

“They are a disgrace to our Nation and don’t care how many lives the ruin. These are Angry People, including the highly conflicted Bob Mueller, who worked for Obama for 8 years. They won’t even look at all of the bad acts and crimes on the other side. A TOTAL WITCH HUNT LIKE NO OTHER IN AMERICAN HISTORY!”

“Universities will someday study what highly conflicted (and NOT Senate approved) Bob Mueller and his gang of Democrat thugs have done to destroy people,” he continued a few hours later. “Why is he protecting Crooked Hillary, Comey, McCabe, Lisa Page & her lover, Peter S, and all of his friends on the other side?”

“The only ‘Collusion’ is that of the Democrats with Russia and many others. Why didn’t the FBI take the Server from the DNC?” he concluded. “They still don’t have it. Check out how biased Facebook, Google and Twitter are in favor of the Democrats. That’s the real Collusion!”
