Trump Trolls Hillary, Obama with Hilarious Video

President Obama may have been considered the “social media president,” but the Trump administration has wielded the power of the internet in a way that is downright hilarious.

On Thursday, the White House released a video entitled “They Said It Couldn’t Be Done,” contrasting Hillary Clinton’s and Obama’s predictions of doom and gloom for the U.S. economy if Trump was elected president to what has actually happened under Trump’s administration. Take a look:

The video was published the same day by the Washington Examiner revealed exciting news from the U.S. Department of Labor showing a 44-year low in the number of people receiving unemployment benefits. In other words, the job market hasn’t looked this good since 1973.

The Examiner pointed out that 6 million people were seeking unemployment benefits during the height of the Great Recession. Now, only 1.73 million are.

This paired with earlier glowing jobs reports has given the Trump administration lots of positive news to share. There are actually more job openings available than the number of people actively looking for work, CNN Money reported.

The New York Times even admitted that “We ran out of words to describe how good the jobs numbers are” after a report revealed an 18-year low in unemployment, 223,000 new jobs in a month, and a steady rise in wages. Black unemployment also dropped to the lowest rate since data tracking began in 1972.

Yet another report also lauded the soaring U.S. economy, ranking it the number one most competitive in the world again after losing that spot in 2015. The report noted that women and the Hispanic community were also big beneficiaries of America’s improved job market.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders recently went after the mainstream media for badgering her with Trump-Russia collusion theories rather than addressing the new jobs report during the first press conference since the report had been released.

“They ignore all of the successes of this president, and it’s too their detriment,” she said in a video message. “I think the American people have seen it, and that’s why the media’s numbers continue to tank and president’s numbers continue to go up.”
