President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May held a joint press conference on Friday, discussing the relationship between the two countries as well as US foreign policy in Europe.
The Q&A had a lighthearted moment when Trump called on Reuters’ Jeff Mason to ask his question. Watch the humorous exchange in the video below.
Here’s how it all unfolded:
President Trump: Next question.
Jeff Mason: Jeff Mason, from Reuters.
Trump: I like your hat.
Mason: Thank you sir. [Laughter]
Trump: You look good without it too, good head of hair. Good, solid head of hair.
Mason: It’s that I don’t have a good, solid head of hair, but thank you, sir.
Trump: I know, I know. I know exactly what you have, Jeff.
Mason: [Laughs] Going into your meeting…
Prime Minister Theresa May: Why don’t you reveal it to the rest of us…
Trump: Come on, Jeff, take it off. Will you show, please?
[Fox News’ John Roberts removes Mason’s hat, revealing his bald head.]
Trump: I like you better without the hat. Go ahead.
Mason: There we go. [Removes hat and sets it on his lap.]
Also in the same press conference, President Trump and CNN’s Jim Acosta had an exchange where Trump refused to take Acosta’s question, calling CNN “Fake news.”
