Amid concerns that Michelle Obama's former chief of staff may have intervened in the Jussie Smollett case, a video emerged on social media showing the former first lady dancing with the disgraced "Empire" actor.

In the video, seemingly from last year, Smollett is seen performing a rap song while Mrs. Obama dances alongside him.

Watch the video below:

Leaked text messages and emails recently revealed that Obama's former chief of staff, Tina Tchen, reached out to Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx during the Smollett case. It should be noted that evidence suggesting Smollett allegedly faked the hate crime against himself is overwhelming.

“Hi Kim - I sent an email to your work address I think as well. I wanted to give you a call on behalf of Jussie Smollett and family who I know. They have concerns about the investigation. I am on an 8 am flight to nyc but please call me before then,” Tchen wrote.

In one text message exchange, a "huge victory" was discussed.

“Omg this would be a huge victory,” Tchen wrote in a text message.

“I make no guarantees, but I’m trying,” Foxx replied.

The two spoke several more times before the prosecutor’s office decided to drop all charges against Smollett.

Smollett first claimed that he was "attacked" by two white men who shouted racial and homophobic slurs. He also claimed they shouted, "This is MAGA country." His entire story read like a rejected Hollywood script.

It later emerged that two Nigerian brothers, who he knew, confessed that Smollett paid them to fake the attack. The actor is still claiming he is innocent after the dismissal of the charges.

On Thursday, his attorney actually suggested that maybe the Nigerian brothers wore whiteface when they attacked Smollett. She made this claim with a straight face.

President Donald Trump finally weighed in on Thursday, promising Smollett that the FBI and DOJ would be looking to his case.

"FBI & DOJ to review the outrageous Jussie Smollett case in Chicago," he tweeted. "It is an embarrassment to our Nation!"

He should probably get better attorneys.
