Watch Hero: Ordinary Guy Helps Police Officer By Body Slamming The Bad Dude Into Asphalt

July 27, 2018Jul 27, 2018

In an incredible act of heroism, an ordinary man lent a helping body slam to an officer in need. Officer Austin Williams was responding to calls that concerned a man acting strangely and asking people for water.

The incident turned serious when the officer approached a man walking through the gas station area. Officer Williams body camera was on and caught the entire thing on tape. After being asked if he was okay, 34-year-old Emiliano Medina moved to take the officers weapon.

Let's just say Utah doesn't seem like a great place to act a fool.

Emiliano threw several punches at the officer when he tried to detain him, breaking loose and taking off in a full sprint. Then the good people of Utah stepped in.

Two blocked Emiliano's pathway and a third man chased him down and body slammed Emiliano into the asphalt. The officer's body camera caught the sound of his body being tossed like a rag doll to the ground with a deep thud.

According to Fox News "Medina was taken to the hospital after the incident, and it was determined he had methamphetamine in his system. He faces charges of assaulting a peace officer, possession or use of a controlled substance, failure to stop at command of law enforcement and disarming a police officer, KSTU reported."
